Rodney Simmons

President and Founder

Rodney has over 30 years of experience in complete RV repair. His tenacious pursuit of providing the highest level of RV service and constant learning established Blue Moon Mobile RV as a trusted repair center. He is the guy who always reads the manual, terms, conditions, and fine print. He doesn't just read these details. He understands them. This attention to detail doesn't slow him down at all!

If you have met him, you know that he goes 100 miles per hour all the time. He has also accomplished master certification with the RVIA-RVDA. Rodney has been recognized as an expert witness in Texas and Florida. He served as past chair of the education committee for the Texas Recreational Vehicle Association (TRVA). Rodney has spoken at RV parks, RV Shows, and RV Conventions about what he has experienced as a technician.

When not at work, Rodney enjoys pursuing his inner Angus Young, RVing, concerts, and cooking with his wife Abby.

Abby Simmons

Director of Operations

Simply put, Abby’s role is to drive us to be as efficient and effective as possible while maintaining positive relations with customers, employees, and the leadership team. With the help of our awesome team, she sets the strategic goals for Blue Moon Mobile RV and collaborates with key staff to achieve those goals.

She has experience in operations management and has worked in challenging and changing environments while transforming businesses to perform at maximum efficiency and quality.

Abby loves dogs, horses, and just about anything she can take care of. Abby also enjoys playing piano, cooking, reading, and doing things outside such as landscaping or gardening. Abby's dream retirement gig is sleeping until noon and then sitting in a tiki hut and playing piano in a place that never gets cold.

Robert Searle

Parts Manager

Robert is a master-certified Blue Moon RV veteran with over 20 years of experience. He has recently taken over as our parts department manager! This job requires an attention to detail, and Robert comes by that naturally. His father used to repair appliances. This aptitude for service and troubleshooting has been passed onto Robert, and it's a big part of his success at Blue Moon Mobile RV.

It's not just about the parts for Robert. It's about the people. He treats others like he wants to be treated, and he'll always go above and beyond on the job.

In his free time, Robert is a voracious learner and a dedicated family man. He is also the kind of person who would make a fusion reactor out of an old microwave, a package of toothpicks, and gorilla glue for fun.

Jaxon Jackson

USRV Master Technician

Jaxon is our awesome Australian import. This guy is cool as they come. How can he not be when he comes from a continent known for having so many deadly critters? While he never took on a great white or handled venomous snakes, he has been welding since his early teens.

He came up through the apprentice pathway in Australia and is one of our resident metal fabrication experts. He also has the ability to say just about anything and get away with it due to his super awesome accent.

He started as a porter with us and transitioned into our apprentice program. Since becoming an apprentice, he spent his first year at Robert's side and more time with our founder and leader Rodney. He is Onan-certified and has logged many hours on Aqua-Hot products during our extreme weather.

When not hitting it hard at Blue Moon Mobile RV, Jaxon spends time with his wife. They enjoy traveling, and he likes taking on furniture restoration projects.

Adrian Gutierrez

Service Manager

Adrian has been another game-changer at Blue Moon Mobile RV. For those of you who are familiar with Rodney and Abby, our leadership team is intense and passionate. Adrian is the balancing energy force needed to make the company work. What makes Adrian so exceptional is that he has a cool head and a strong work ethic. This epic combination has helped him become a service manager at an early age after serving as a lot porter.

Adrian has been more than a lot porter. He's also been a detailer, PDI tech, sales representative, service advisor, and paint and body technician. With this breadth of experience, he's a service manager who isn't afraid to get his hands dirty. If someone calls in, Adrian will jump in with no questions asked. Plus, he's just a great technician. He never complains but leads by example, holding himself to the highest standards.

It's not just customers and staff who love Adrian. Our dog, Mo, also thinks Adrian is the best. He may have bribed her using a doggie brainwashing technique that relies on hash browns. Adrian is also a fisherman when he's not on the job with Blue Moon Mobile RV.

Anissa Currie

Level II Apprentice

We are proud to introduce our newest team member, Anissa Currie. She was seeking a career in the trades and jumped into our DOL apprentice program with both feet. She is loyal, hardworking, intelligent, and just an overall really good person. Her work ethic and toughness earned her the codename "True Grit." Her sense of humor and positive personality keep us laughing until our bellies hurt.

Anissa is an accomplished USRV level II apprentice, already earning multiple certifications in a short time. She is certified by Lippert, Truma, Dicor, and Cummins. She's even licensed to work on LP by the Texas railroad commission. If you follow us on social media, you have gotten to watch her journey. She's a customer favorite!

She loves animals, coffee, and Air Jordan shoes. She is also close with her family, and she's always helping them with projects outside of work. Once Anissa slows down enough, we'll get her headshot taken!
